Dispatch-Operations Manager
Our team is growing, and we’re looking for our next problem-solving Dispatcher. We’re looking for an organized dispatcher to help our growing customer base and field team prioritize service calls. You'll be responsible for preparing work schedules and handling customer requests and complaints. You’ll also communicate with field units and customers using two-way radios, telephones, and messaging apps. You have data entry experience, basic computer skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Primary Duties And Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Scheduling and dispatching drivers, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs
Ensure the disposal plan is followed.
Communicate available inventory with sales management/customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensure route completion each day and coordinate with management regarding driver performance.
Create and maximize capacity by ensuring productive use of all assets, equipment, and drivers.
Ensure maximum productivity by achieving or exceeding Company-established goals by successfully routing vehicles.
Generate productivity reports daily and distribute them to management.
Compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations including DOT Hours of Service procedures.
Coordinate in conjunction with management all driver’s PTO to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Manage and maintain DOT files, HOS logs, drug screen programs, and set up of phones for drivers in conjunction with the controller’s oversight.
Maintain and update the Risk Management portal to track and monitor claims.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, And Software Used:
Usual office equipment including computer, telephone, copier, and calculator.
Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
